At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 105.813 people have tested positive
- 66.624 patients have recovered
- 26.977died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 199.414.
In detail: there are currently 35.441 positive cases in Lombardy, 12.225 in Emilia-Romagna, 15.508 in Piedmont, 8.860 in Veneto, 5.983 in Tuscany, 4.562 nel Lazio, 3.580 in Liguria, 3.310 in the Marche, 2.877 in Campania, 2.912 in Puglia, 1.707 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2.123 in Sicily, 2.030 in Abruzzo, 1.258 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 940 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 776 in Sardinia, 782 in Calabria, 287 in Umbria, 235 in the Aosta Valley, 217 in Basilicata and 200 in Molise.
