Covid-19, Speranza extends ban on flights departing from Brazil and on entry into Italy for travellers who have transited in Brazil in the last 14 days

"I have signed a new ordinance extending the ban on of flights departing from Brazil and on entry into Italy for travellers who have transited in Brazil in the last 14 days. We are maintaining an approach of maximum caution, while our scientists continue to study the variants of the COVID-19 virus".

With these words, Health Minister Roberto Speranza announced his new ordinance of January 30, published in the Official Gazette on the same day, which extends until  February 15 all the measures included in the ordinance of January 16 for the South American country, where a variant of the new Coronavirus has been identified.
