The measures for entry into Italy
From 1 to 28 February 2023, persons coming from the People's Republic of China are required to present a certification of a negative antigenic or molecular swab carried out within 48 hours prior to departure for Italy.
Those entering from the People's Republic of China are strongly recommended to wear FFP2 masks or masks with higher protection levels inside aircrafts and airports.
To ensure surveillance and the detection of possible virus variants, USMAF Authorities may carry out random swabs on passengers arriving from the People's Republic of China upon arrival in Italy.
These measures are included in Minister Schillaci's Order of 30 January 2023.
As of 1 June 2022, Covid-19 green certification is no longer required for entry into Italy from EU and non-EU countries.
