At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 84.842 people have tested positive
- 103.031 patients have recovered
- 30.395 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 218.268.
In detail, the number of infected people amounts to 30.262 in Lombardy, 13.934 in Piedmont, 7.401 in Emilia-Romagna, 5.877 in Veneto, 4.448 in Tuscany, 2.982 in Liguria, 4.345 in Lazio, 3.230 in the Marche, 1.965 in Campania, 830 in the autonomous province of Trento, 2.729 in Puglia, 2.080 in Sicily, 869 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.676 in Abruzzo, 473 in the autonomous province of Bolzano, 111 in Umbria, 550 in Sardinia, 118 in the Aosta Valley, 612 in Calabria, 145 in Basilicata and 205 in Molise.
