Covid-19 weekly monitoring, report of November 9-15

The report of the Control Room - Cabina di Regia number 27 for the period November 9 – 15, shows that the incidence of new diagnoses has reached remarkably high levels and spread throughout the country.

There is evidence that the burden of Covid-19 infection on local health services and hospitals is significant.

The continuous increase in hospitalizations due to Covid-19 goes to the detriment of the hospital care resources available for patients with other pathologies.

The high incidence of the contagion, albeit with an initial slowdown in the transmission index, requires that existing measures are thoroughly maintained to allow for a reduction in infections as quickly as possible.
