COVID-19, minister Speranza signs a new ordinance: the risk level drops in five Regions

The Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, signed a new Ordinance based on data from the Control Room/Cabina di Regia (MD April 30, 2020), which was held on December 11.

The measures provided for in the Ordinance will be enforced starting December 13, 2020.

More specifically, according to the new Ordinance:

  • the Regions: Basilicata, Calabria, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Liguria, Lombardy, Marche, Molise, Piedmont, Autonomous province of Trento, Apulia, Sardinia, Sicily, Umbria, Veneto are now included in the yellow area
  • Abruzzo is now included in the orange area

Overall, therefore, the breakdown of the Regions in the different areas is currently as follows:

  • Yellow area: Basilicata, Calabria, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Liguria, Lombardy, Marche, Molise, Piedmont, Autonomous province of Trento, Apulia, Sardinia, Sicily, Umbria, Veneto 
  • Orange area: Abruzzo, Campania, Autonomous province of Bolzano, Tuscany, Aosta Valley
  • Red area: No Regions
