Covid-19, situation report update at 15 June 2020 18.00

At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.

As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:

• 25.909 people have tested positive
• 177.010 patients have recovered
• 34.371 died (the confirmation that the cause of death is exclusively imputable to SARS-CoV-2 will be validated by the Italian Higher Institute for Health)

To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 237.290

In detail, the number of infected people amounts to 15.976 in Lombardy, 2.604 in Piedmont, 1.500 in Emilia-Romagna, 795 in Veneto, 489 in Tuscany, 246 in Liguria, 1.292 in Lazio, 617 in Marche, 289 in Campania, 410 in Puglia, 66 in the autonomous province of Trento, 805 in Sicily, 99 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 486 in Abruzzo, 94 in the autonomous province of Bolzano, 18 in Umbria, 33 in Sardinia, 12 in Aosta Valley, 37 in Calabria, 70 in Molise e 11 in Basilicata.
