At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
104.291 people have tested positive
37.130 patients have recovered
21.067 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 162.488
In detail: there are currently 32.363 positive cases in Lombardy, 13.778 in Emilia-Romagna, 13.055 in Piedmont, 10.736 in Veneto, 6.352 in Tuscany, 4.022 nel Lazio, 3.466 in Liguria, 3.095 in the Marche, 3.094 in Campania, 2.552 in Puglia, 2.082 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2.071 in Sicily, 1.800 in Abruzzo, 899 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.564 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 900 in Sardinia, 816 in Calabria, 622 in Umbria, 559 in the Aosta Valley, 265 in Basilicata and 200 in Molise.
