At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 18.303 people have tested positive
- 186.725 patients have recovered
- 34.678 died (the confirmation that the cause of death is exclusively imputable to SARS-CoV-2 will be validated by the Italian Higher Institute for Health)
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 239.706
In detail, the number of infected people amounts to 11.992 in Lombardy, 1.681 in Piedmont, 1.068 in Emilia-Romagna, 527 in Veneto, 324 in Tuscany, 259 in Liguria, 862 in Lazio, 460 in Marche, 52 in the autonomous province of Trento, 164 in Campania, 173 in Puglia, 57 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 371 in Abruzzo, 130 in Sicily, 87 the autonomous province of Bolzano, 10 in Umbria, 14 in Sardinia, 5 in Aosta Valley, 28 in Calabria, 36 in Molise e 7 in Basilicata.
