At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 19.573 people have tested positive
- 184.585 patients have recovered
- 34.675 died (the confirmation that the cause of death is exclusively imputable to SARS-CoV-2 will be validated by the Italian Higher Institute for Health)
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 238.833.
In detail, the number of infected people amounts to 12.903 in Lombardy, 1.870 in Piedmont, 1.089 in Emilia-Romagna, 564 in Veneto, 337 in Tuscany, 255 in Liguria, 886 in Lazio, 493 in Marche, 141 in Campania, 190 in Puglia, 51 in the autonomous province of Trento, 132 in Sicily, 71 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 391 in Abruzzo, 89 the autonomous province of Bolzano, 12 in Umbria, 15 in Sardinia, 3 in Aosta Valley, 19 in Calabria, 40 in Molise e 7 in Basilicata.
