As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 52.942 people have tested positive
- 144.658 patients have recovered
- 32.955 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 230.555
In detail, the number of infected people amounts to 24.477 in Lombardy, 6.941 in Piedmont, 4.146 in Emilia-Romagna, 2.431 in Veneto, 1.522 in Tuscany, 1.438 in Liguria, 3.538 in Lazio, 1.575 in the Marche, 1.184 in Campania, 1.539 in Puglia, 513 in the autonomous province of Trento, 1.430 in Sicily, 375 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 909 in Abruzzo, 179 in the autonomous province of Bolzano, 42 in Umbria, 224 in Sardinia, 31 in the Aosta Valley, 238 in Calabria, 174 in Molise and 36 in Basilicata.
