At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 104.657 people have tested positive
- 71.252 patients have recovered
- 27.682 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 203.591.
In detail: there are currently 36.122 positive cases in Lombardy, 11.862 in Emilia-Romagna, 15.521 in Piedmont, 8.369 in Veneto, 5.663 in Tuscany, 4.535 nel Lazio, 3.576 in Liguria, 3.347 in the Marche, 2.782 in Campania, 2.927 in Puglia, 1.463 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2.145 in Sicily, 1.976 in Abruzzo, 1.227 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 845 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 761 in Sardinia, 753 in Calabria, 261 in Umbria, 135 in the Aosta Valley, 194 in Basilicata and 193 in Molise.
